The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smilehoven misses with a double jab.
Camoes looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Smilehoven!
Smilehoven wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Camoes.
Camoes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Camoes lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Camoes pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Camoes is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Smilehoven has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Camoes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Smilehoven has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Smilehoven!
Smilehoven knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Camoes on the ground.

Camoes is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Smilehoven stands and steps away. Camoes gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Camoes dives in and grabs Smilehoven's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smilehoven pushes down on Camoes's head and hops out.

It looks like Fabricio Camoes has been cut.
Camoes shoots in but no luck this time.

Smilehoven throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Camoes.
Camoes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smilehoven looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Smilehoven managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Camoes.
Smilehoven is pushing Camoes's head away, looking to escape. Camoes manages to hold on to the position though.
Smilehoven on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smilehoven tries to get out of the position.
An elbow from Camoes crashes against the mat.
Camoes is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smilehoven has escaped the position, nice work there.
Camoes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Camoes swings around for an armbar but Smilehoven sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Camoes's guard.
Camoes has his foot on Smilehoven's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smilehoven works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Camoes pushes a forearm under Smilehoven's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Smilehoven is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
