Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kai Diao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diao connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
No joy there for Strong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diao staying out of range there.
Diao thuds his right hand into Strong's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Diao lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Strong walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Diao throws a solid leg kick but Strong takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Diao.
Diao is looking to clinch but Strong is avoiding it.

Strong tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Diao smiles and moves away.
Diao swings for the body but Strong moves out of range.

and Diao counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Strong is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Kai Diao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Diao counters with a good low kick that Strong was not able to check.
Diao throws a quick inside leg kick.
Diao lands with a slapping head kick.

Strong connects with a good right hand that stumbles Diao. Diao circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Strong lands a lovely overhand right.
Strong jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A chopping leg kick lands by Diao.
Strong swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Strong dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Strong lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diao tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strong paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Diao fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Strong has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Strong has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Diao uses from the top position.

Diao got a little sloppy there for a moment and Strong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diao has managed to get both his arms back between Strong's legs - danger averted.

Strong is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Diao rolls with it to try and escape but Strong cranks on the arm and Diao is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
