The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anzai throws a right and a left that both miss.
Anzai throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ogden.
Anzai misses with a body shot.
Ogden is looking to slow Anzai down with leg kicks.
Anzai stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ogden.
Anzai looks to land a combination but Ogden avoids it well.

Ogden scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Anzai takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ogden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Anzai keeps working.
Anzai is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ogden is controlling him well.

Ogden looks up at the clock and then as Anzai takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ogden smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ogden creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Ogden has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ogden is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Anzai is trying to escape and Ogden transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Anzai is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ogden! Very nice indeed!
