The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zrinski tries a head kick but it misses.
Elbe blocks a head kick by Zrinski.
Zrinski throws a series of punches but Elbe avoids them all with ease.
Zrinski goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Zrinski tries to close the distance and clinch but Elbe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Elbe pivots, looking for a leg kick but Zrinski is out of range and Elbe settles back down.
Zrinski keeps the fight on the outside.

and Zrinski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Zrinski wants to stand up but Elbe has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Elbe gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Elbe throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Elbe manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Zrinski is in all sorts of trouble here.
Elbe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Elbe lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
