The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohuelych fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ilie.
Ohuelych scoring well with a low kick there.
Ilie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ohuelych is trying to maintain the position but Ilie is very close to passing his half guard.

Ohuelych moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Ilie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bitea Ilie hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Ohuelych will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ohuelych misses with a double jab.

Ilie wants to pass the guard but Ohuelych is keeping the position.
Ilie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ohuelych's guard.
Ohuelych is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ilie scores with a couple of nice shots.
Ilie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ilie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ilie is working for a guillotine from mount but Ohuelych frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bitea Ilie dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ilie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ohuelych pinned against the cage. Ohuelych gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ohuelych misses with a series of wild punches.
Ded Ohuelych is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ohuelych buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ohuelych swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ilie shoots in for a takedown but Ohuelych shows good takedown defense.
Ilie drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ohuelych is defending against the submission attempts here by Ilie.
Well, if Ilie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ilie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ohuelych is just riding it out for now. Ilie eventually gives up the hold.

Ilie wants to finish this one by submission but Ohuelych is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ilie.
