Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taufik Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaime Federico Camil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Camil has managed to clinch.

Ali gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Ali wants to lay and pray for a moment but Camil keeps working.
Ali is really struggling to control Camil but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Ali decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Camil dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Camil gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ali is looking to advance position but Camil won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Camil shoots in and gets a takedown into Ali's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Taufik Ali will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Ali feints and as Camil raises his hands in defense, Ali changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ali could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Camil has his foot on Ali's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ali works his way back into a safe position though.

Camil works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Camil working the strikes but Ali uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Ali misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Ali pushes Camil off and gets back to his feet.
Ali tries to close the distance and clinch up but Camil swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ali fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Camil sprawls well initially but Ali persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Camil is looking for a sweep. Ali is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Camil gets full guard.
Ali might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Taufik Ali will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Ali drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ali wants to pass the guard but Camil is keeping the position.
Camil wants to improve his position but instead Ali has moved into half guard.

Well, if Ali is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Ali wants to pass to mount but Camil is defending the position.
Camil wants to get back to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ali wants to control but Camil is keeping him busy.
Ali stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Taufik Ali just wasn't active enough.
Camil fails with the takedown

and Ali counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Camil's guard now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Taufik Ali showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ali, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
