Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tahei Uchido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Strath More (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uchido kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Final Battle. More has chosen Reign in Blood as his entrance music. The key to victory for Tahei Uchido has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tahei Uchido!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Strath More!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uchido is looking to clinch but More is avoiding it.
Tahei Uchido seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Uchido misses with a double jab.
More takes a jab right on the kisser.
Uchido misses with a two punch combination.
Uchido bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps More's head backwards.
Uchido is looking to clinch.

More shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Uchido manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
More pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Uchido is keeping the position for now.

More is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Uchido is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Uchido has escaped and now he's on top!
More is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Uchido wanted to stand there but More had control of the position.
Uchido is pushing down on More's leg trying to pass to half guard. More is fighting to maintain full guard but Uchido has managed to sneak the leg through.

More is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Uchido pulls his head out easily.
More is trying is best to control the position here.

Uchido wants to work for an arm triangle but More is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
More is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Uchido missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Uchido thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed More's head.
More is staying active underneath Uchido, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

More looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
More is doing well to control the position and prevent Uchido from advancing to side control.
Uchido wants to stand but his hand is trapped. More uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
More is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

More's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

More looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
More looks gassed!
More preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
More is pulling down on Uchido's head to control his posture.
Uchido wants to stand and escape but instead More has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
More slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

More looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

More tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no More has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

More wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Uchido, who protects the arm well.
More throws a strike aimed at the side of Uchido's head but Uchido avoids it well.

That's five minutes gone in the round.

More swings around for an armbar but Uchido sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into More's guard.
Uchido stopping the sweep attempt from More.

More is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Uchido rolls with it to try and escape but More cranks on the arm and Uchido is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
