Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Wing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Mica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott Mica will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wing shoots in and bounces Mica off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mica looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Mica working for submissions but it's allowed Wing to get to half guard.
Wing seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Mica is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wing trying to control the action but Mica is working from the bottom.
Mica looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mica wants to get back to full guard but Wing has passed into side control.

Wing looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Wing landing strikes from the mount.
Mica takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Wing looking to control but Mica is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Wing postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mica looks a forlorn figure.
Wing prevents Mica from getting the reversal.
Wing can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mica is looking to escape.
Mica tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Mica defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Wing.
Wing trying to control but Mica is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mica really wants to buck Wing off and get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mica is trying desperately to improve position.
Mica is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The referee warns Mica that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Mica tries to reverse the position but Wing maintains control.
Wing trying to control but Mica is having none of it.

and Wing counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mica won't be happy with that.

Wing stops Mica from getting back to his feet.

Wing decides to stand up.

Wing has managed to clinch.

Wing turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mica gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Wing looking to finish Mica with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mica!

Wing working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mica turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Wing off and cradles Mica's limp body as Wing celebrates with his corner.
