Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hassan Has (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Butsikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ivan Butsikov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butsikov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Butsikov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Has, pushing him back against the cage.
Butsikov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Has just stands there and leans against the cage.
Has is trying to force a seperation but Butsikov has the dominant position.
Has is looking to break free of the clinch but Butsikov has double underhooks.
Butsikov wants to break free but Has has control.
Has pushes Butsikov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Has stops a takedown attempt from Butsikov.
Hassan Has has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Butsikov.

Butsikov successfully pulls guard.

Has drops back looking for a leg! Butsikov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Butsikov manages to kick Has off! Has jumps back into Butsikov's guard.

Butsikov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Has drops back looking for a leg! Butsikov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Butsikov manages to kick Has off! Has jumps back into Butsikov's guard.

Has trying to control the position from guard on top but Butsikov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Has is looking to stand up but Butsikov won't let him.

Has passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Has decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Has shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Butsikov's guard.
Has postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Has wanted to stand there but Butsikov had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Has distracts Butsikov with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Has stands and throws Butsikov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Butsikov tries to buck Has off but Has is having none of it.
Has throws an elbow but Butsikov slips to the side and avoids it well.

The ground and pound from Has seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

It looks like Ivan Butsikov has been cut.

Has stands up and beckons Butsikov to his feet.

Has closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Has wants to stand up but Butsikov has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Has looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Butsikov on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Butsikov is looking to escape.
Butsikov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Butsikov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Has.
Has scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Has is working for a kimura but Butsikov is defending it quite comfortably.
Has throwing shots but Butsikov is blocking nicely.
Butsikov is breathing heavily.
Has trying to control from half guard but Butsikov is working away.
Has missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Has thows a huge punch but Butsikov dodges it nicely.

Butsikov pushes Has off looking to stand but Has dives back in and keeps control.

Has is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Butsikov has managed to free his arm - good work.
Has looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Butsikov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Butsikov is defending against the submission attempts here by Has.
Butsikov is not content to let Has control the position.

Has is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Butsikov is looking to control Has's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Butsikov avoid being mounted?

Has throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Has frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Has fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Has looking to secure an arm triangle but Butsikov defends it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ivan Butsikov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ivan Butsikov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
