The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sack avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sack looks to land a right hand but Hewitt moved out of range.
Nice jab there from Hewitt.
Sack ducks under a wild hook from Hewitt.
Sack keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hewitt throws a shot from downtown. Sack moves away and avoids it.
Hewitt wants to clinch up but Sack keeps it at a distance.
Hewitt scores with a hook to the body. Sack takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice defenses there by Sack.
Sack moves out of range as Hewitt strikes.
Sack loads up on a big right hand but Hewitt slips the punch.
Hewitt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sack.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hewitt wants to clinch up but Sack keeps it at a distance.
Hewitt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sack manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hewitt just misses with a punch to the body.
Murray Hewitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sack looks to score with a jab to the body but Hewitt is just out of range.
Sack throws a right hand that Hewitt ducks under and follows up with a left that Hewitt also avoids with ease.

Hewitt looks to throw the jab but Sack is out of range.

Sack shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sack was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
