Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mika Kirppu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Istuva Harka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mika Kirppu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mika Kirppu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Istuva Harka!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harka fails to land the takedown.
Harka throws a series of punches but Kirppu avoids them all with ease.
Harka swinging wilding here.
Harka defending well as Kirppu loads up on a big left hand.
Kirppu looks to score with a jab to the body but Harka is just out of range.
Kirppu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Harka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kirppu lands a nice shot that snaps Harka's head back.
Kirppu lunges at Harka with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Harka's hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kirppu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Harka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kirppu's waist but Kirppu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harka off to one side.
Harka looks gassed!
Kirppu dodges the punch combination from Harka.

Kirppu clinches up with Harka and pushes him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kirppu has Harka pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Harka manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kirppu lands a body punch in the clinch.
Kirppu works on Harka's body with a couple of short punches.

Kirppu successfully pulls guard.
Kirppu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kirppu is keen to just control but Harka is a slippery customer.
Harka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kirppu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kirppu moves nicely into side control.
Kirppu wants to control but Harka is keeping him busy.
Kirppu lands a decent elbow from side control.
Harka tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Kirppu has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Harka! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kirppu gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
