The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanica fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fechada shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Vanica counters with a nice body kick.
Fechada on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Vanica feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fechada sprawling to the canvas! Fechada rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Vanica finish him?!

and Fechada counters with a shoot takedown. Vanica fights it but they end up in guard.
Vanica has control of Fechada's left arm, preventing Fechada from doing any damage.

Vanica manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Vanica throws a right and a left that both miss.

Vanica lands a big head kick that sends Fechada tumbling to the mat! Vanica takes a step backwards and waves Fechada back to his feet - he wants the finish!
