Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demian Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Ismael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva swings for the body but Ismael moves out of range.
Silva throws a front kick that sends Ismael stumbling back into the cage.
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ismael manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ismael tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ismael looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Lee Ismael has been cut.
Silva lands an overhand right.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva throws a leg kick which misses Ismael's front leg but catches the back leg as Ismael tries to avoid it.
Silva connects with a crisp jab.
Silva connects with an inside leg kick.

Silva drops Ismael with a nice combination! Silva dives into Ismael's guard, looking to finish!

Ismael is rocked!
Silva stands and throws Ismael's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Ismael is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva is looking to take a break and control but Ismael is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ismael seems to have recovered his senses.

Silva has hold of Ismael's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ismael tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silva cranks the arm and Ismael screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ismael, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
