The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Donovan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Donovan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Seddigh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Seddigh drags the fight down to the ground.
Donovan won't allow Seddigh to sweep him here.
Seddigh wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Donovan wants to control from the top but Seddigh keeps moving.

Donovan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Seddigh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Donovan has managed to get both his arms back between Seddigh's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Seddigh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Donovan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Donovan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Seddigh, up you get!
Seddigh avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Seddigh shoots in and bounces Donovan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Donovan looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Donovan is looking to stand up but Seddigh isn't so interested in that idea.

Seddigh won't allow Donovan to get back to his feet.

Seddigh thows a huge punch but Donovan dodges it nicely.
