The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reinhardt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Juliard sprawls well initially but Reinhardt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Reinhardt tries to pass the half guard into mount. Juliard knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Juliard trying to hold on to Reinhardt's head to control him but Reinhardt postures up.

Reinhardt is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Juliard has managed to free his arm - good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reinhardt tries to stand and escape but Juliard is controlling the position.
