The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bondoc rushes Brockoley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Brockoley takes an elbow to the temple.
Bondoc prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bondoc lands a hook to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brockoley might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bondoc kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Brockoley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brockoley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bondoc controls Brockoley momentarily but Brockoley frees himself.
Brockoley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bondoc's guard.

Bondoc kicks Brockoley off and gets back to his feet.

Brockoley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Balaur Bondoc.

Still in the clinch, Bondoc scores with a nice short uppercut.

Brockoley tries to score a body lock takedown but Bondoc shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brockoley is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bondoc.
Bondoc throws an overhand right that drops Brockoley like a sack of potatoes! Bondoc dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
