The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobsen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sangria throws a jab but it's blocked by Jacobsen.
Jacobsen lands a nice looking body shot.
Jacobsen ducks under a wild hook from Sangria.
Horrible takedown by Sangria or perhaps it was just good defense by Jacobsen which made him look bad.

Jacobsen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jacobsen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sangria.

Jacobsen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jacobsen does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jacobsen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sangria doesn't seem bothered though.
Sangria fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jacobsen on the side of the head.
Jacobsen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sangria misses with a double jab.
Jacobsen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sangria manages to avoid it.
Jacobsen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sangria.
Sangria scores with a nice head shot.
Jacobsen slips a jab from Sangria.

Sangria misses with a straight left.
Jacobsen scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Sangria doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sangria misses with an uppercut.
Sangria keeps the fight on the outside.
Jacobsen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sangria was well out of range. Poor timing from Jacobsen.
Jacobsen moves out of range of the strikes.

Sangria bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sangria wants to control but Jacobsen is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacobsen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Jacobsen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sangria stalling.

Sangria is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Jacobsen moves into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sangria working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Jacobsen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sangria defends well.
Jacobsen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sangria!

Sangria tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jacobsen unloads with some shots from mount but Sangria bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sangria tries to reverse the position but Jacobsen maintains control.

Sangria is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Jacobsen locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Sangria is forced to tap!
