The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schmidt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Schmidt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Raider is looking to improve his position but Schmidt isn't that keen on the idea.
Schmidt cracks Raider with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

It looks like Ricky Raider has been cut.

Schmidt looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Schmidt is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Raider is surviving well by controlling Schmidt's body position as best he can.

Raider is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Raider looks gassed!
