Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benny Schilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Benny Schilt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy Santiago!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Benny Schilt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santiago tries to clinch but Schilt moves out of range.

Schilt scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Santiago is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Schilt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Schilt's back!

Santiago has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schilt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Schilt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Benny Schilt just wasn't active enough.

and Schilt counters with a body kick.
Benny Schilt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Santiago.
Santiago chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Schilt can pounce on him.
Santiago throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Schilt's waist but Schilt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Santiago off to one side.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Schilt.

Santiago takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
