Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Pazzini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pazzini might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger. Stevenson has chosen This Love, This Hate by Hollywood Undead as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson tries to bum rush Pazzini with a series of wild strikes but Pazzini uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Stevenson thows a body shot but no joy.
Stevenson misses with a leg kick.
Pazzini is looking to clinch.
Pazzini will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pazzini keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stevenson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stevenson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stevenson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Stevenson lands with a nice combination. Pazzini backs away looking to recover.
Stevenson cracks Pazzini with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stevenson, as that shot connected.

A slow jab from Stevenson misses its intended target.
Stevenson throws a hook but Pazzini blocks it.

Stevenson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Pazzini ducks under a wild hook from Stevenson.
Stevenson stalks Pazzini and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pazzini's face. Pazzini staggers backwards, shaken.
Stevenson throws a series of punches but Pazzini avoids them all with ease.
Stevenson misses the shot to the body.

Pazzini changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stevenson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pazzini works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The strikes coming from Pazzini are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Stevenson wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pazzini throws an elbow but Stevenson slips to the side and avoids it well.

Pazzini has hold of Stevenson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Stevenson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pazzini cranks the arm and Stevenson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stevenson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
