William comes to the cage accompanied by Outlaw's Reward . Jones has chosen Salvation as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James William!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dante Jones!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A head kick misses from Jones.
Jones checks a low kick from William.
James William seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
William scores with a nice right hand.

William throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
William scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jones checks the leg kick nicely there.
The fight stays on the outside here - William looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A punch combination from William misses.
William throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and William finishes the takedown easily into guard.

William cracks Jones with a solid left hand.
William chips away with some ground and pound.
William lands a couple of elbows.
William stops Jones from standing up.
William working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jones's head.
William forces his way into half guard.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with William. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
William wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
William works his foot free and advances to mount.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
William looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
William won't let Jones get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
William postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
William lands a big shot there that rocks Jones but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jones is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
William postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Jones is out cold - huge knockout for William!
