The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akimora throws a right hand that Woods ducks under and follows up with a left that Woods also avoids with ease.
Akimora throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Woods.
Akimora lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Woods backs up against the cage.
Akimora dips to his left and cracks Woods with an uppercut!
Akimora lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dante Woods seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akimora misses with the combination.
Akimora tries to bum rush Woods with a series of wild strikes but Woods uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Woods shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Akimora but Akimora pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Woods walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Akimora drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Woods swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Akimora's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
