Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shina Aoyki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zero kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero misses with a low kick.
Zero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A slapping leg kick lands for Aoyki.
Aoyki throws a leg kick

and Zero counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Zero slips nicely into half guard.

Aoyki looking for submissions off his back.
Aoyki is in trouble now - Zero has advanced to mount!
Aoyki is squirming around, avoiding Zero's attempts to control the action.

Zero jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Aoyki manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zero is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Aoyki is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Zero advances nicely into full mount.

Zero moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Aoyki has worked his arm free - good work by Aoyki!

Aoyki manages to get back to half guard.

Zero throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Zero is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Aoyki regains full guard. Nicely done.
Aoyki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Aoyki has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zero's face.
Aoyki is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Zero is looking to get to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Aoyki cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Zero is working to get back to half guard.
A nice elbow there by Aoyki.
Aoyki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Aoyki lands a big shot there that rocks Zero but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Zero is rocked!
Aoyki unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Zero wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Aoyki celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
