Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 29 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mabishiro Sakamoto!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machina misses with a two punch combination.
Machina swinging wildly here.
Sakamoto slips a jab and a cross from Machina.
Sakamoto shoots in but Machina avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sakamoto misses with a looping right.
Mabishiro Sakamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sakamoto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Machina sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sakamoto somewhat.
Machina lunges at Sakamoto with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sakamoto's hand.

Sakamoto does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Sakamoto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sakamoto dives in and grabs Machina's left leg, looking for a takedown. Machina pushes down on Sakamoto's head and hops out.
Kyoto Machina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mabishiro Sakamoto.
Sakamoto fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Machina avoids it really well and circles away.

Sakamoto tries to lock up and control but Machina gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kyoto Machina overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
