Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Greg Huges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huges comes to the cage accompanied by Buck Dich. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Huges.
Huges throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Santiago tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Huges is in Santiago's guard.
Huges stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Santiago swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Santiago is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Santiago is trying to keep Huges in close.
Huges trying to control the position from guard on top but Santiago is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Huges closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Santiago did well to prevent Huges getting side control.
Huges seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Santiago does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Santiago is on top in guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Huges fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Santiago sprawls well initially but Huges persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Huges throwing shots but Santiago is blocking nicely.
Huges is stalling here. Santiago is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Huges seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Santiago has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Santiago is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Huges has escaped the position, nice work there.
Huges tries to buck Santiago off but Santiago is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Santiago is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Huges looks calm but he's in trouble here. Santiago gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Huges is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Santiago lets go of the hold and Huges can pop his arm back in it's socket.
