The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid rushes Stanimirovic and presses him up against the cage.
Stanimirovic goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kid prevents it.
Kid is pressed up against the cage. Stanimirovic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kid down to the mat. Kid avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kid prevents Stanimirovic from improving his position.

Kid takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kid cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kid has control of Stanimirovic's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Stanimirovic regains control of the situation pretty easily.
