Evans is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pride FC. BJ Evans will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a push kick but Blaze slaps the foot to one side.
Evans tries to clinch but Blaze moves away

and Blaze counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Evans!

Blaze jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Evans is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Evans and Blaze has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Blaze has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Evans swats away the attempt to clinch by Blaze.

Evans gets caught flat footed, as Blaze shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blaze forces his way into half guard.

Blaze maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Evans could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Blaze has cracked it and Evans is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Blaze!
