Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eiki Daikaura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heng Keo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Soulfly - Bleed. Heng Keo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eiki Daikaura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Heng Keo!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daikaura looks to throw a body kick

and Keo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Daikaura!
Daikaura has given up his back here. Will Keo look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Daikaura is trying to get back to his feet but Keo has full control of the position and if anything, Daikaura has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Keo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Keo is keen to just control but Daikaura is a slippery customer.

so Keo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Daikaura is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Keo dives into side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Keo is looking for a sweep. Daikaura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eiki Daikaura.
Keo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daikaura is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Daikaura had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Keo defends it easily.

Daikaura throws a right hand that Keo ducks under and follows up with a left that Keo also avoids with ease.

Daikaura gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Keo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Keo passes Daikaura's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Keo prevents Daikaura from improving his position.
Heng Keo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Keo is working for a kimura but Daikaura is defending it quite comfortably.

Keo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daikaura swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Daikaura can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Keo controls the pace.
Keo wants to pass the guard but Daikaura is keeping the position.
Keo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Daikaura is pulling down on Keo's head to control his posture.

Heng Keo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Keo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
