Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King clinches with his opponent.

King wants the takedown. kristo is fighting it off but King persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in kristo's guard against the cage.

King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

King misses with the ground and pound.
King takes a little break here. kristo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
King seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down kristo for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dorian King.

King gets a trip takedown into half guard.

King is looking for a kimura but kristo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for King to get the leverage.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with King in particular looking to stall.
King moves into full mount! kristo won't be happy about that!

The referee warns kristo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like ryan kristo has been cut.
King changes levels and goes for a takedown here. kristo fights it off and pushes away nicely.
King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts kristo as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

King is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

King has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed kristo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
King lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by King.

King is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. kristo has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but King has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! kristo taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. King doesn't care though - he's delighted!
