Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Corey Pot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jo Stinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Corey Pot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jo Stinson!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pot falls off balance throwing a combination

and Stinson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pot!
Stinson wants to get back to his feet but Pot is holding on tight.
Stinson looking to control but Pot is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Stinson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pot kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Pot is trying to stand back up but Stinson is controlling him
Stinson wants to stand up but Pot manages to regain full guard.

Stinson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pot is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pot has his feet on Stinson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Stinson needs to keep his hands up - Pot had a free shot at his head there.

Stinson ducks straight into an uppercut from Pot and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Stinson manages to regain guard straight away.
Pot loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stinson pushes Pot away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pot gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Stinson parries the strikes from Pot easily there. Pot is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stinson to escape.
Pot throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Pot throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A jab-cross combination lands for Pot and sends Stinson crashing to the mat! Pot follows him down to the mat - Stinson regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Pot misses with a double jab.

Pot lands the left hand.
Pot throws a right hand that misses

so Stinson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Pot has a closed guard, preventing Stinson from standing up.
Pot pulls Stinson in close to prevent any damage.
Stinson is looking to stand up but Pot won't let him.
Pot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stinson on the ground.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Stinson won't allow Pot to get back to his feet.
Pot on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pot tries to get out of the position.

Pot wriggles free and stands up.
Left hook, right uppercut from Pot.
Pot lands with an uppercut that bounces Stinson off the cage and back into rage.
Corey Pot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stinson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pot to score with a decent uppercut.
Pot misses with a hook. Stinson ducked under it nicely.

and Pot counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pot moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Pot works the jab nicely.
Stinson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pot.
Stinson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Pot lands with a straight right. Stinson didn't see that one coming.
Pot bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stinson's head.
Pot throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Pot missing with a left hand there. Stinson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pot fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stinson fails with a takedown attempt.
Pot lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Danga de danga de dang - Pot scores with a four punch combination!
Pot misses with a right hand
and Stinson counters with a three punch combo that has Pot backing up. Pot nods at Stinson to acknowledge the strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pot looks to throw the jab but Stinson is out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Pot. That snapped Stinson's head back.
Pot throws a combination. Stinson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Pot swinging wildly here.
Pot throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horrible takedown by Stinson or perhaps it was just good defense by Pot which made him look bad.
Jo Stinson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Corey Pot is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Pot cracks Stinson with a good jab.

Corey Pot showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Pot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
