Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leon Czolgosz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Araya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Araya has chosen Slayer - Angel of Death as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tomas Araya was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araya throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Czolgosz throws out a loose jab but Araya uses good head movement to avoid it.
Araya misses with an uppercut. Czolgosz saw that one coming.
Araya is looking to clinch but Czolgosz is avoiding it.
Araya feints and then cracks Czolgosz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Czolgosz down.

Araya stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Araya wants it to stay on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Czolgosz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Araya looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Araya looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Araya!
Czolgosz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Araya's best efforts.

That was a close second round but I would say that Leon Czolgosz will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Czolgosz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Araya does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Leon Czolgosz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Czolgosz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Czolgosz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
