Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Travis Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Boiko!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boiko gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Black to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Black throwing strikes but missing.
Black scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Black thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Black drops back, looking for a kneebar! Boiko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Boiko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Boiko!
Black is pushing Boiko's head away, looking to escape. Boiko manages to hold on to the position though.

Black tries to improve position but can't.

Black has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Black is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Boiko has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Boiko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Black is looking for a rear naked choke here but Boiko reverses the position brilliantly into Black's guard!
Black bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boiko's guard.
Boiko utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Black postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boiko is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Black, into his guard.
Black working for submissions but it's allowed Boiko to get to half guard.
Black is breathing heavily.

Black uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boiko.

Boiko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Travis Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boiko shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Boiko slaps away a takedown attempt from Black, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Black shoots in for a takedown but Boiko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Black looks to land a combination but Boiko avoids it well.
Black shoots in and drives through. Boiko sprawls well.
Sloppy strikes from Boiko. Those never looked like landing.
A head kick from Boiko lands but Black takes it in his stride.
Black tries to close the distance and clinch but Boiko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boiko scores with a hook to the body. Black takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Black shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boiko pinned against the cage. Boiko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ivan Boiko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Horrible takedown by Black or perhaps it was just good defense by Boiko which made him look bad.
Boiko looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.
Black shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boiko pinned against the cage. Boiko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A head kick by Black misses
and Boiko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Black shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boiko makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Black really felt that one!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Black tries to clinch up
and Boiko counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Boiko digs a good hook to Black's body.
Black has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Black there as he acknowledges the shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Boiko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The fighters circle momentarily. Boiko darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Black has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Boiko finds it's way round the side to connect with Black's head.

Boiko throws a sloppy head kick and Black moves out of range easily.
Boiko feints and then cracks Black's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Black down.

and Boiko counters with a two punch combo.
Boiko tries a head kick but it misses.
Black ducks under a wild hook from Boiko.
Black with a lazy takedown attempt
letting Boiko counter with a right hand.
Black gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Boiko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Black doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boiko counters with a low kick, right behind Black 's knee.

A chopping leg kick lands by Boiko.
Black moves out of range of the body kick.
Boiko stalks Black and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Black's face. Black staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Travis Black has been cut.
Boiko lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nice body punch from Boiko.

Ivan Boiko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Boiko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
