Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A darts in and clinches Jackson up against the cage.

A throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

A breaks the clinch.

Jackson tries to break free but A pushes him back against the cage.
A lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

A manages to pull guard.
Jackson wants to stand but A is controlling his posture from full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
A pulls Jackson in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson wants to get up but he can't break A's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
A is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A pulls Jackson in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Remose A just wasn't active enough.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, A creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.

A breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and A counters with a three punch combo that has Jackson backing up. Jackson nods at A to acknowledge the strikes.

A lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

A escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A moves into the clinch.
A scores with an uppercut up the middle.

A manages to break the clinch.
Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

A gets a clinch.

A breaks the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

A closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

A ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away.

A jumps guard and drags Jackson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jackson wants to stand but A has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jackson is fighting to break A's control of his arms but A is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jackson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A drops Jackson with a straight right hand, right on the button! A follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Remose A!
