The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wills is looking to land body kicks.
Wills tries to close the distance and clinch but Obusan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wills jumps guard and drags Obusan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wills is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Obusan is controlling him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wills can do anything to dispel that myth.
Obusan wants to stand but Wills has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Obusan looking to sit in guard and control but Wills gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wills throws a strike but Obusan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Obusan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wills looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wills looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wills!

Wills throws a shot from downtown. Obusan moves away and avoids it.
Obusan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wills stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
