Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davids has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - Bring Da Ruckus as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Bo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrone Davids!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davids misses with a shot to the body

and Bo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bo.
Davids wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bo is now in half guard.
Bo is looking to advance position but Davids won't allow it.
Bo is looking to take a break and control but Davids is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Davids tries to roll over but Bo keeps him under control.
Davids is refusing to be controlled, as Bo sits in half guard.
Davids trying to hold on to Bo's head to control him but Bo postures up.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Davids swings away with a body shot that misses

and Bo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davids controlling the position.
Bo trying to control but Davids is working from the bottom.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Davids misses with a hook to the body
and Bo counters with a series of strikes. Davids will be more careful next time no doubt.
Davids lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Davids has his takedown stuffed
and Bo counters with a left to the body.
Bo throws a hook to the side of Davids's head but Davids sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Davids throws a sloppy body shot
and Bo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Davids is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Davids throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bo misses with a hook. Davids ducked under it nicely.

and Davids counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Davids shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Davids seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Bo is refusing to be controlled, as Davids sits in half guard.
Bo is controlling Davids's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Davids looks to land a left hand but Bo moved out of range nicely.

Davids throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bo sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Bo shoots in and gets a takedown into Davids's guard.
Davids wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Davids is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Bo is stalling in the full guard.

Jim Bo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Davids will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bo up against the cage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Davids tries to land knees in the clinch but Bo avoids the damage to the body.
Davids digs a right hand into Bo's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bo's gas tank.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jim Bo will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Davids doesn't manage to clinch there - Bo circles away.
Tyrone Davids seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davids manages to avoid it.

and Bo counters with a single leg into guard. Davids didn't expect that.
Tyrone Davids has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Bo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davids swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jim Bo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Davids looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Davids working a defensive guard but Bo passes into half guard.
Bo wants to take a breather but Davids is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bo is really struggling to control Davids but he's trying to hold on to the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jim Bo showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
