Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Machidan Lyoton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Penna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Machidan Lyoton has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Machidan Lyoton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Penna!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Penna misses.
Lyoton moves out of range of the body kick.
Lyoton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lyoton walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Penna checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Penna fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Penna has taken the fight to the clinch.
Penna pressing his opponent against the cage.
Lyoton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Penna has him pressed against the cage.
Lyoton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Penna breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Penna shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lyoton as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lyoton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Penna counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Penna shoots in but Lyoton avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Penna misses with a double jab
and Lyoton counters with a nice low kick that buckles Penna's knee momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penna on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Penna shoots for a takedown but Lyoton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Machidan Lyoton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Penna.
Lyoton moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lyoton looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Penna looks gassed!
Lyoton drops Penna with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Penna! Lyoton dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
