The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boo misses with a body shot
enabling Mecier to counter with a crisp jab.
Boo is looking to chop away at Mecier's legs.
Boo clobbers Mecier with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
No luck for Mecier with that takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Boo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boo tries to land a front kick but Mecier steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Boo throws a leg kick which misses Mecier's front leg but catches the back leg as Mecier tries to avoid it.
Boo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Boo throws a right and a left that Mecier avoids nicely.

Mecieris looking to pass into half guard but Boo pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Boo is in guard.

Mecier is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boo defends well.

Boo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mecier to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Boo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mecier pulls down on the head and he's put Boo to sleep! This one is all over!
