Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinny Veechi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kain Fernandez!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veechi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fernandez's guard.
Veechi could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Veechi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fernandez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Veechi has Fernandez in his guard.
Fernandez thows a big elbow that misses.
Veechi trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Veechi pulls Fernandez in close to prevent any damage.
Veechi looking for a guillotine here but Fernandez defends easily.
Fernandez wants to stand but Veechi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Veechi has his foot on Fernandez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fernandez works his way back into a safe position though.
Veechi wants to sweep but no luck.
Veechi preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fernandez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Veechi pulls Fernandez in to control the position.
Veechi throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Fernandez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Veechi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Fernandez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fernandez wants to stand but Veechi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Veechi looking for a sweep. Not yet Veechi, not yet.
Fernandez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Veechi has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fernandez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Veechi has tightened it up now! Fernandez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
