The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalls ducks under a wild hook from Brooks.
Brooks lands a body shot.
Smalls defending well as Brooks loads up on a big left hand.
Smalls looks to land a combination but Brooks avoids it well.
Smalls misses with an uppercut. Brooks saw that one coming.
Brooks misses the jab.
Smalls tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brooks was well out of range. Poor timing from Smalls.
Brooks throws a jab but it's blocked by Smalls.
Smalls throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brooks misses with a hook. Smalls ducked under it nicely.
Brooks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smalls.
Brooks throws an overhand right that lands on Smalls's shoulder, as Smalls tries to avoid the shot.
Smalls slips a straight right by Brooks.
Brooks waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smalls.

Brooks lands a left and a right that send Smalls crashing to the mat, dazed. Brooks thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Smalls is rocked!

It looks like Biggie Smalls has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brooks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Oh Smalls is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brooks misses with an attempted mid kick.
Smalls seems to have got his legs back now.
Smalls throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Brooks cracks Smalls with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smalls looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Brooks finish him?
Smalls is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brooks darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Smalls's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Brooks before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
