Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between xfgf sfgfg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladislav Tsvetkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). xfgf sfgfg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, xfgf sfgfg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladislav Tsvetkov!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

sfgfg closes the distance and pushes Tsvetkov back into the cage.

Tsvetkov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tsvetkov manages to end up in side control.
sfgfg is trying to get back to half guard.
Tsvetkov wants to lay and pray for a moment but sfgfg keeps working.
sfgfg is trying to control Tsvetkov's posture but Tsvetkov avoids it.
sfgfg parries the strikes from Tsvetkov easily there. Tsvetkov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable sfgfg to escape.
Tsvetkov looking to control but instead sfgfg has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
sfgfg moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

sfgfg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tsvetkov's guard.

Tsvetkov throws his legs up looking for a submission but sfgfg uses it to pass to side control.
sfgfg moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
sfgfg trying to control the position but Tsvetkov is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tsvetkov tries to buck sfgfg off but sfgfg is having none of it.

Tsvetkov tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Tsvetkov is trying to work for a sweep but sfgfg has mounted him!
Tsvetkov is squirming around, avoiding sfgfg's attempts to control the action.
sfgfg content just to control the position here.
Tsvetkov wants to hold on but sfgfg pushes him away.
Tsvetkov is trying to escape the mount.

Tsvetkov in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Tsvetkov is bucking up trying to escape but sfgfg cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
sfgfg postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tsvetkov looks a forlorn figure.
Tsvetkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with sfgfg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tsvetkov is squirming around, avoiding sfgfg's attempts to control the action.

Tsvetkov reaches up to try and control the position but sfgfg seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Tsvetkov rolls and tries to escape and now sfgfg has his back!

sfgfg lands a shot to the head.
sfgfg is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tsvetkov prevents sfgfg from getting a body triangle.

xfgf sfgfg dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


sfgfg fails with an attempt to clinch.
sfgfg misses with a kick to the body.
Tsvetkov walks into a stiff left hand from sfgfg.
sfgfg tries to clinch but Tsvetkov moves out of range.

Tsvetkov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
xfgf sfgfg overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
sfgfg is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

sfgfg is not content to let Tsvetkov control the position.

sfgfg tries to bench press Tsvetkov off him but Tsvetkov keeps the position.

sfgfg is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Tsvetkov's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Tsvetkov tries to stand and escape but sfgfg is controlling the position.
Tsvetkov is breathing heavily.
sfgfg is looking to control Tsvetkov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can sfgfg avoid being mounted?
Tsvetkov is keen to just control but sfgfg is a slippery customer.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
sfgfg is trying to maintain the position but Tsvetkov is very close to passing his half guard.
sfgfg tries to roll over but Tsvetkov keeps him under control.
Tsvetkov missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
sfgfg stuffs the takedown attempt from Tsvetkov. Tsvetkov gets slowly back to his feet.
sfgfg tries for a takedown but Tsvetkov circles away easily
and Tsvetkov counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. sfgfg is lucky that one didn't land flush.

xfgf sfgfg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladislav Tsvetkov.
sfgfg will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Tsvetkov counters with a nice double leg into guard.

sfgfg manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tsvetkov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

sfgfg can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tsvetkov is looking to escape.
Tsvetkov is in a horrible position here. sfgfg smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Vladislav Tsvetkov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Tsvetkov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and sfgfg defends well.

sfgfg wanted to stand there but Tsvetkov had control of the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tsvetkov can do anything to dispel that myth.
