The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle fails with a takedown attempt.
Castle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yamokov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Castle misses with a double jab.
Yamokov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Yamokov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Yamokov stops Castle from standing up.
Yamokov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Yamokov lands a nice forearm strike.

Castle takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Yamokov advances nicely into full mount.

Castle is desperately trying to improve his position but Yamokov has a good base and remains in mount.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Yamokov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Yamokov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Castle looks a forlorn figure.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boris Yamokov dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Castle pushes Yamokov off, looking to escape but Yamokov dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Castle is forced to tap! The fight is over!
