The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dowd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Heines was well out of range. Poor timing from Dowd.

Dowd shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Heines sprawls well. Heines wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dowd gets slowly back to his feet.
