The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luppy swats away the attempt to clinch by Hunter.
Hunter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Luppy pushes Hunter up against the cage in a clinch.
Luppy fails to pull guard.
Luppy can't break the clinch.
Luppy is working for takedown but Hunter is calmly controlling the position for now.
Luppy jumps guard but Hunter stands there with Luppy around his waist. Luppy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Luppy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hunter smiles and moves away.

Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luppy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Hunter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hunter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luppy tries to avoid it but Hunter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luppy to the ground. Luppy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Luppy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hunter is working away from the top position though.

Hunter is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luppy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Luppy looks to land a combination. Hunter sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Hunter gets to his feet - Luppy follows without any prompting.
Luppy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Hunter tries for a takedown but Luppy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Luppy enables Hunter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Luppy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
