Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dmitriy Brajnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ded Ohuelych (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brajnik gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ohuelych is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ohuelych has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ohuelych prevents the takedown attempt.
Ohuelych stops a takedown attempt from Brajnik.

Brajnik has picked Ohuelych up - he's going for a ride! Brajnik dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Brajnik is trying to control. Ohuelych wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Brajnik decides to stand back up. Brajnik steps back and let's Ohuelych get back to his feet.

Brajnik shoots in looking for a takedown but Ohuelych manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brajnik's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Ohuelych.
Ohuelych fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brajnik on the side of the head.

Brajnik looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Ded Ohuelych is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brajnik is breathing heavily.
Ohuelych misses with a series of wild punches.
Ohuelych throws a series of punches but Brajnik avoids them all with ease.
Brajnik shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Brajnik throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ohuelych's waist but Ohuelych gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brajnik off to one side.
Ohuelych lands a leg kick that knocks Brajnik off balance momentarily.
Ohuelych lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Dmitriy Brajnik has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ohuelych throws a one two combo.
Brajnik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ohuelych tries to avoid it but Brajnik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ohuelych to the ground. Ohuelych escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brajnik chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ohuelych can pounce on him.

Brajnik has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ohuelych.

Brajnik dodges the punch combination from Ohuelych.
Ohuelych throws a right and a left that Brajnik avoids nicely.

Brajnik gets a takedown into half guard.
Brajnik wants to take a breather but Ohuelych is having none of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brajnik is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Brajnik postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ohuelych looks a forlorn figure.

Brajnik is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ohuelych to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ohuelych shrugs it off.
Ohuelych tries to improve his position but instead Brajnik has taken his back!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brajnik is looking for the choke from the back position but Ohuelych is controlling his hands well.
Brajnik thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ded Ohuelych will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Brajnik closes the distance and pushes Ohuelych back into the cage.
Brajnik goes for a takedown attempt but Ohuelych pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Brajnik wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ohuelych keeps working.

Brajnik has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ohuelych defend it? Brajnik steps over the head and cranks it - Ohuelych is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Brajnik!
