The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Kharitonov.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from ONeill is defended easily by Kharitonov.
ONeill waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kharitonov.
ONeill shoots for a double leg takedown but Kharitonov sprawls well. He's pushed ONeill's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kharitonov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kharitonov lands a big head kick that sends ONeill tumbling to the mat! Kharitonov takes a step backwards and waves ONeill back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Dane ONeill has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kharitonov drops ONeill with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but ONeill looks back up at him and smiles so Kharitonov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
ONeill is rocked!
Kharitonov pounces like a tiger and cracks ONeill with a vicious hook! ONeill is down but not out! Kharitonov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Boris Kharitonov!
