The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silverton connects with a looping right hand.
Conde gets tackled into the cage by Silverton. Silverton maintains the clinch.
Conde tries to circle away but Silverton has him pinned against the cage.
Silverton tries a body shot but Conde blocks it.

Silverton stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Silverton digs a right hand underneath Conde's ribcage. Conde let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Silverton prevents Conde from breaking the clinch.
Silverton has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Conde uses from the top position.

Silverton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Silverton lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Conde!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silverton swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Conde is now in Silverton's guard. A big mistake from Silverton there, giving up the dominant position!
Conde wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Silverton's closed guard. He's half up but Silverton has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Silverton pivots and extends the arm, Conde falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Silverton! Well done that man!
