These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fellows postures up and lands a big shot to Bong's brow.
Bong avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Fellows would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fellows tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bong swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fellows tries to bum rush Bong with a series of wild strikes but Bong uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bong got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fellows has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bong has managed to get both his arms back between Fellows's legs - danger averted.

Bong tries to stand but Fellows is controlling from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bong looking to sit in guard and control but Fellows gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Fellows throws and elbow that misses. Bong uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fellows's guard. Nice move by Bong!

Fellows is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bong is aware though and is defending well.

Bong has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fellows to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bong is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fellows pulls down on the head and he's put Bong to sleep! This one is all over!
