The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fedorov's guard.
Fedorov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Foka shoots in and bounces Fedorov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Foka is in close to Fedorov's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Fedorov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Foka is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fedorov.

Foka's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Foka seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fedorov for as long as he can get away with.

Fedorov tries to close the distance and clinch but Foka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Foka stands and throws Fedorov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Fedorov is letting Foka control him for a moment.
Foka looks up at the clock and then as Fedorov takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Foka smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fedorov is trying to escape the position but Foka is controlling the position.

Fedorov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Foka backs up against the cage.
Foka looks for a takedown but Fedorov sprawls well.

Foka gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Foka darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Fedorov bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Fedorov wants to control from the top but Foka keeps moving.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Foka is on top in guard.
Fedorov had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Foka is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fedorov Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Foka's back instead.

Foka has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Fedorov has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Foka is defending well but eventually Fedorov manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Foka has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
