The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bannon throws a right hand that Grabovski ducks under and follows up with a left that Grabovski also avoids with ease.
Grabovski shoots for a takedown but Bannon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bannon misses with an uppercut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grabovski.
Sloppy strikes from Bannon. Those never looked like landing.
Bannon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bannon throws a big shot that misses.
Grabovski gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Damien Grabovski has been cut.
Bannon misses with a series of wild punches.
Bannon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Grabovski.
Shannon Bannon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damien Grabovski.
Grabovski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bannon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Grabovski somewhat.

Grabovski with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bannon to score with a decent uppercut.

Bannon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grabovski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Grabovski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bannon is fending him off so far but Grabovski persists. Nope, Bannon circles away and we're back to standing.

Shannon Bannon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Bannon has cracked Grabovski with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Bannon lands another huge swinging hook and Grabovski tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Grabovski, before Bannon can land any more shots!
