Emelianenko misses with a takedown attempt - Kovriga sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kovriga moves out of range as Emelianenko strikes.

Kovriga drops Emelianenko with a beautiful combination! Emelianenko stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kovriga is looking for the KO!

It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Emelianenko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kovriga is fending him off so far but Emelianenko persists. Nope, Kovriga circles away and we're back to standing.

Kovriga dances in with a quick combination. Emelianenko is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kovriga snaps Emelianenko's head back. Emelianenko stumbles backwards against the cage. Kovriga steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Emelianenko's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Emelianenko just didn't come prepared.
